WRITER/EDITOR CONSULTANT

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Writer/Editor Consultant with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

A multinational Swedish company is looking for a consultant with native-level English writing and editing skills. The consultant will assist the Human Resources department with initiatives focusing on learning, culture, talent acquisition, wellbeing, rewards and recognition, and processes and tools.

The consultant must be able to attend planning and strategy meetings and then work independently to gather information for articles for internal communication and social media posts. Work will include both original writing and ongoing copy-editing assistance for writing generated within the department.

Responsibilities include developing new content and determining when and how to resurface prior work from relevant projects. On a daily basis, assist the team in developing and refining ideas, cultivating sources, reporting and writing articles.

Edit and maintain intranet and SharePoint information sites' content. Contribute to the creation of social media content, particularly on Instagram and LinkedIn. Collaborates closely with other departments' editors. Manage the process of pitching stories to multiple channels. Create and distribute email newsletters and emails.

PowerPoint presentations should be created. Edit (on a basic level) video content (for example, removing three minutes from a video or changing the title) primarily to fit it to stories or other content. Follow up on KPIs and assist content in meeting its objectives.

Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:

Competency prerequisites for the applicant:

  • A strong editorial background and proofreading abilities are required.
  • Proven ability to adhere to editorial and technical style guides
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Comfortable with frequent cross-functional and senior management contact
  • Ability to exert indirect authority to deliver results
  • Image management skills
  • Working knowledge of digital editorial publishing systems (CMS) and intranets
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.

Other:

It is advantageous to have the following knowledge & experience:

  • SharePoint and Adobe Suite experience.
  • Portfolio or examples of work on texts Maximum of one A4 page, and if you work with social media content, you can submit that as well.

Scope: 100%

Language Requirements: Mastery of English language in both speech and writing is required. It is advantageous if you have good oral and written skills is Swedish.
