• 2+ years of video editing experience (preferably in the travel marketing industry).
• Proficient knowledge of color correction, audio mixing and graphics production processes.
• Proficient knowledge in the Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects in Particular.
• Knowledge and experience with a variety of video platforms e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, etc.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge in video formats, compression and encoding.
• Familiarity with digital media workflows including the various uses, capabilities, applications,
• limitations, and costs.
• A self-starter who can take direction and work with a team as well as independently.
• Well-organized and able to prioritize/manage own workload and meet deadlines.
• Excellent at clear and concise written and verbal communication with clients and co-workers.
• Able to effectively manage relationships, both internally and externally.
• Possess a careful attention to detail.
• Possess strong customer service skills.
• Display a dependable, strong work ethic.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, professional office environment with several concurrent deliverables.

Job Snapshot: You are a video editor with a passion for storytelling. We are a cutting-edge team producing videos for the travel/tourism industry, in search of an editor who is an enthusiastic collaborator, eager to flex his/her creative chops. If your attention to detail and process matches your desire to create amazing content across a wide variety of destinations, formats and styles, we might just be the perfect match!

For this role, we’re looking for someone with experience primarily in digital and social video content, who will spend most of their time editing and finalizing high-quality post-production across multiple clients, video styles and distribution platforms for the Content Studio at Miles Partnership.

Essential Duties:

• Collaborates with internal creative leads to execute video projects that deliver on the client’s creative goals and objectives.
• Edits and finalizes high-quality travel video content in formats appropriate for the intended distribution (social, digital, broadcast, etc).
• Focuses on crafting storylines and messaging to coincide with pre-approved creative briefs and strategy. This may include reviewing footage and performing initial footage selections, reviewing interviews and extracting appropriate soundbytes, etc.
• Able to work and allocate time effectively across multiple projects at once.
• Understands and implements editing techniques and best practices for post-production. This includes audio mixing to achieve a clean, clear and professional sound across voice, music and sound effect needs; color correction to achieve an engaging, realistic and desired look across video projects; and color grading to achieve a more stylized, branded look across video projects.
• Helps review and/or ingest footage for archiving, including tagging and organization.
• Understands and implements client branding in a consistent way across multiple projects.
• Reviews videos to ensure accuracy and quality prior to sharing for others’ review.
• Researches latest video styles and trends and effectively implements those learnings.
• Follows and helps to evolve post-production and archiving processes.
• Encodes, exports, and manages final compositions, digital assets, and project archives.
• Communicates with team members proactively in terms of bandwidth, deadlines, delays, etc.
• Participates in meetings to discuss progress and ensure production objectives are met.
• Coordinates with project teams and management on schedules, requirements, goals and assignments as needed.

Location:

• Sarasota or Tampa, FL

Travel Requirements:

• Minimal intra- and/or inter-state travel required, often requiring an overnight stay.
