Who we are looking for?*
We are searching for an innovative Technical Team Lead with good hard and soft skills to join our team. As a Technical Team Lead, you oversee the company’s technical teams and projects they undertake. You are strongly contributing to the technical recruiting pipelines, assessments and training strategy to support the HR Team. You comprehend the company’s diverse IT knowledge and best practices into our Knowledge Base and Training Plans to keep the highest possible standards of Software Development for our clients.
You lead, monitor, and supervise our Developer Teams to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of our clients. “You don’t always know the solution but you know where to find the person that knows the solution”. You motivate and inspire the team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of team members, and creates a high-performance culture within our Tech Department. You have been coding for years and now prefer to bring this role on to build knowledge and coach the teams without losing the direct contact to the code.
To be successful as a Technical Team Lead, you should always be expanding your knowledge and be sharp and quickly identify problems and have a solution oriented attitude. Responsibilities

  • Support in defining the company’s Developer Roles and Tech Stacks within the market and client needs
  • Manage the Code Assessment content, systems and Code Challenge strategy for Tech Recruiting pipeline in collaboration with HR
  • Contribute to shape the company’s Software Development culture in collaboration with our Senior Developers
  • Gather, decide and document best practices in a Knowledge Base
  • Generate content and training and Training content together with an IT Trainer
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments
  • Define Personal Development roadmaps for our Developers
  • Analysing existing operations and assess where training is needed
  • De-Escalation management for technical or performance related challenges with our Development Team at the client
  • Determining project requirements and support the Onboarding of a team to new clients
  • Scoping the needs and designing team roles together with the Technical Lead of our clients
  • Liaising and supporting team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards
  • Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible
  • Motivating and engaging with our Tech Team within our space to raise questions and voice their concerns and constantly challenge and improve our approaches
  • Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes

Requirements*

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant Management and Leadership experience required
  • At least 6 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong leadership and organisational abilities
  • Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients
  • Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and agility
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
