System Administrator job from CTG in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

CTG IT Solutions is an IT Services Company dedicated to European Institutions. We are currently hiring a System Administrator to join a prestigious European Institution in Luxembourg.

Your Missions

• You keep a high level of service on the business units, guaranteeing compatibility of applications by testing them in the new Operating System domain
• You do the migration to welcome domain
• You deal with the Identification of tools used by production units
• You are in charge of testing tools for compatibility
• You manage to create a compatibility report
• You provide support to users on their migration process

Your profile

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT and minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
• You can speak and write fluently in English, French is an asset
• You already use Active Directory and Open LDAP infrastructure
• You have a very good knowledge and experience with MS Windows server 2008-2016 and terminal server/RedHat Linux ver 6.x/7.x
• You hold a good knowledge of the following scripting languages: VBS, WSH, PowerShell, ADSI, WMI, SH, BASH, etc…
• You are familiar with VMware virtualization system
• You have network skills in TCP/IP and particularly SMTP, SNMP, DHCP, DNS, SSH
• You hold experience of the follow-up of documentation needed for Disaster Recovery Plan
• You already use Microsoft BitLocker Drive Encryption and Safeguard LanCrypt version 3.5 and above
• You have the capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment
• You have good communication skills and team spirit
