Position: Social Media Copywriter & Content Creator

Employment Type: Part-Time, 28 hours a week (Full-Time Available for the right person)

Who are we:

Fox Junkie Digital a small, Brisbane-based creative agency that specialises in hospitality brands. We work closely with small-to-medium sized local restaurants & cafes on everything they need to thrive online as well as offline.

The role:

We’re now on the hunt for someone that has a magical way with words. A person who sees copywriting as a way to spark emotions, to influence, and to move people to action. And of course, someone is obsessed with food & drinks - you’ll be writing a lot about them.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Planning and organising social media contents (e.g. posts, stories, reels) for a variety of hospitality businesses, including writing captions in the voice of each respective brands. (You are not required to design artworks or photograph images)
• Writing blogs for our Brissy Eater & SC Eater brands based on current trends and season, in alignment with their respective brand voices.
• Working collaboratively with other team members to create copy and/or edit email campaigns, graphic posters, landing pages, websites, etc.
• Develop unique brand voices for clients that align with their business concept & target market

We’re looking for someone who has:

• A min of 2 years working experience as a copywriter or similar roles that involves writing for marketing & advertising purposes.
• A portfolio of previous copywriting work (even better if it's food or hospo related!).
• A strong grasp on brand tone-of-voice (you’ll need to have a keen eye for consistency) and ability to write in varying brand voices.
• An eye in organising a beautiful Instagram grid (from photos and graphic artworks created by other team members)
• Demonstrated ability to show initiative, work autonomously, and manage multiple tasks.
• An interest in working in a small business, as this can entail wearing more than one hat at times and embracing flexibility & fluidity.
