At Kalmar Dairy we count around 110 highly motivated, inspiring colleagues and produce 15,000 tonnes of traditional Swedish yellow cheese including Herrgård, Präst, Grevé and Svecia. We focus dedicatedly on ensuring a good and safe work environment, high quality, continuous improvement and delivering on targets.

Setting a clear direction and focus on performance
Kalmar Dairy is one of our leading Swedish dairies when it comes to safety and work environment. We expect that you will provide leadership and coaching to your employees when managing and supervising the day-to-day activities so that you can raise the bar even further. Your goal is to secure ongoing development and optimum performance. As part of the Swedish Supply Chain Production Management team you will contribute to the business planning and strategy development process. As such, you will develop and execute short and long-term plans in close dialogue with colleagues across the business.

Experienced leader with power
To be successful in the role as Site Director we believe that you have a degree in e.g. Dairy Technology or you have a similar technical/food background. You have experience from the dairy or food manufacturing industry giving you an in-depth understanding of business optimisation methods and effects. Clearly, you must have the will, urge and drive to set direction for a dairy on both the strategic and tactical level. You have either established yourself as a strong leader or have the drive, will and capacity to do so. You have a toolbox loaded with managerial tools to secure a first-class production environment and buy-in at all levels. Your business insight is solid, and you manage to approach situations with an open attitude as well as determination when necessary.

You focus on safety, quality and results in everything you do, and due to your global outlook, you are open-minded towards cultural diversities and changes. You have excellent communication (also in English) skills, a sound commercial mindset and you are good at creating long-term relations both internally and externally. Finally, it goes without saying that you should be a passionate ambassador for our fantastic yellow cheese.
