NSPCC is a reputed company based in Remote. We are looking for talented professional from the field of Education / Higher Education to join our team as Senior Education Consultant.

The focus of this post is the development and provision of a high-quality education consultancy service as part of the Training & Consultancy team. The successful post holder will be responsible for managing and delivering an education consultancy offer against set income and utilisation targets to help professionals better protect children from harm. .

This post is based in the NSPCC Consultancy service. The focus of this department is strengthening safeguarding services, systems, policies and practices through the provision of organisational safeguarding consultancy. The department also provides advice, events and products to help organisations make children safer.

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively to increase awareness, influence and leverage within the education sector, to engage key professionals involved in delivering child protection to have the skills, knowledge systems and structures to protect the young people in their care.

You will have extensive practical knowledge of safeguarding within the school environment and an understanding of the statutory duties. With strong influencing and networking skills you should be confident engaging professionals at all levels, with the ability to really listen to others’ needs and point of view, find solutions to their problems whilst being able to challenge poor practice, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Ideally you will have worked in a safeguarding context in your previous role(s).

The role offers a lot of diversity in its scope for the right candidate and will include supporting our exciting secondary school service. This will require development of teacher facing training resources and content to support teachers delivering sex and relationships curriculum. Experience and knowledge of this area would be an advantage.

The post is accountable to the Service Head of Training and Consultancy. This is a UK-wide role, therefore regular travel and overnight stays will be required.
