Airbus is a reputed company based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We are looking for talented professional from the field of IT-Hardware / Networking to join our team as Sbca3 Customer Support Engineer F/m.
A great opportunity for a Structure Repair Engineer has arisen within Airbus Toulouse .
Within the framework of Airworthiness Authorities regulations and in agreement with the SOR management policy and procedures, the job holder provides repair engineering assistance to the customers. He/she ensures timely responses, with good quality assistance, on-site when necessary.
The job holder provides feedback to management, to design organizations and to the vendors on in-service experience, on maintenance activities and on other significant issues.
He/she assists airlines in all queries on structure repair matters and ensures repair designs and instructions are timely available for airline use.
Task & accountabilities :
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Answering daily repair queries related to design and documentation
Liaising with Design Offices to ensure requested repair definitions and justifications are timely available
Liaising with the Spare Parts Organizations for repair parts availability
Initiating updates of structure repair documentation
Assisting on-site operators in structure damage evaluation or repair embodiment
Ensuring information flow to and from operators for repair matters
Providing technical stand-by (AOG) assistance
Providing engineering support to other Customer Services departments
Using TechRequest extensively and properly, for filing relevant documents and answers
This role will involve some travel for business. As such, you must be able to travel accordingly (generally not more than twice per year).
Required Skills :
You will be able to demonstrate some of the following competencies & skills:
Qualified Engineer, with a minimum of 3 years experience
Knowledge in aircraft structures design and stress
General knowledge of composite materials and metallurgy
Knowledge and experience in Structural repairs
Knowledge and experience in MRO environment
Experience/high interest in working with extensive and highly integrated electronic data processing systems
Experience in Customer Services, preferably in the civil aeronautical field
Ability to cope with highly demanding environments
Good co-ordination and communication skills, both oral and written
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Knowledge of Spanish or another language would be a plus
