The University of Manchester is a reputed company based in Manchester M13. We are looking for talented professional from the field of Science and Research to join our team as Research Associate In Sustainable Futures.

Sustainable Futures, along with Digital Futures and Creative Manchester, is one of three Research Platforms at the University of Manchester. These University-wide research communities help support and grow interdisciplinary research in key priority areas at a scale and pace commensurate with their importance to the University’s research strategy. Sustainable Futures seeks to address environmental challenges through the broad lens of sustainability (environmental, economic, and social). It recognises that these challenges are both urgent and interrelated, which ensures solutions will be necessarily interdisciplinary. The University of Manchester has both the depth and breadth to be global leaders in this space, with this new platform serving as our launchpad.

Led by the Director, Prof. Michael Shaver, the Sustainable Futures platform is seeking a Research Associate to help shape, scope and grow environmental sustainability research. Working with the Director, Challenge Leads and the Strategy and Operations Manager and Research Platforms Team (Digital Futures and Sustainable Futures), you will help to map and align our current capabilities and interdisciplinary research, grow the platform by facilitating internal collaboration, and build our reputation through external engagement with stakeholders.
