National University of Singapore is a reputed company based in Outram. We are looking for talented professional from the field of Science and Research to join our team as Research Assistant.

Job Description

The Neuroscience and Behavioural Disorders (NBD) Programme is focused on understanding the structure and function of the nervous system, and the neural mechanisms underlying human neurological, psychiatric and ophthalmological disorders.

The Chronobiology and Sleep Laboratory (CSL) at Duke-NUS Medical School studies the effects of sleep and circadian rhythms on human performance and physiology. The research assistant will assist in running research study protocols, including studies on the effects of sleep behavior on learning, wellbeing, and physiologic responses. The research assistant will be responsible for applying EEG electrodes, collecting and/or processing biological specimens, operating study equipment, monitoring progress of research protocols, and administering computer-based neurobehavioral tests to research subjects. The research assistant also need to include subject recruitment and data analysis.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, the life sciences, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong computer and/or analytical skills is required.
  • Experience with R or other programming languages is preferred but not required.
  • Able to work flexible hours to cover research study events.
