(A) SPECIFIC (80%)

1. Reviews each patient’s medication chart or prescription, under supervision, for the appropriateness of the drugs prescribed and to contact the prescribing doctor when an intervention is needed. The review has to ensure that:

• i. All orders are clear and specific
• ii. Doses are prescribed within therapeutic limits
• iii. Any potential adverse reactions and interactions are identified

2. Fulfill all drug orders accurately and in a timely manner.

3. Dispense, under supervision, medications to patients, explaining the indications for drug therapy and instructions for administration.

4. Provide, under supervision, drug information to other healthcare professionals.

5. Ensure that all sales and supply of medicinal products comply with legal requirements:

1. Takes ownership and responsibility of own pre-registration training and participates actively in discussion.
