Office Manager - Leongatha

Numbering over 800 staff, our Registration and Licensing (R&L) division significantly contributes to ensuring Victorians are safe on our roads by providing professional customer services, policy advice and specialist services to our customers.
Reporting to the Area Manager, Eastern Rural we are seeking an Office Manager to assume day-to-day operational leadership of our Leongatha Customer Service Centre (CSC).

About the Role

  • Exercise independent judgement to effectively plan and organise workload to achieve agreed outcomes

  • Identifies development needs for self and the team and make appropriate recommendations for development that meets the individual and business needs.

  • Use negotiation and influencing skills to encourage innovation and better work practices for improved business performance.

  • Provides supervision and training to staff on performance goals and criteria and how they can be achieved.

  • Uses conceptual and analytical skills to develop solutions, but seeks advice when needs to, to ensure actions are appropriate to situation

  • Exercise professional judgement to identify possible breaches of legal requirements, policies and procedures and the Public Sector Code of Conduct and take appropriate action.
