Amentum is a reputed company based in Remote. We are looking for talented professional from the field of Project Management / Event / Program Management to join our team as Material Coordinator-transportation Coordinator- Swa Bn.

Job Summary:
AMENTUM has an opening for an Material Coordinator - Transportation Coordinator in Kuwait.

Purpose:
Performs mission/resource shipping analysis coordinates with supply, maintenance and transportation functional areas and ensures supporting requirements and implied tasks are accomplished to standard and within required timelines. Responsible for preparing APS-r equipment for shipment through the use of a large number of tracking databases for Air/Sea/Ground movement. Systems are preferred, but not required, such as SMS, AWRDS, RF-ITV, DAASINQ, TIPs Write, JOPES, SDDC, IDE, GTN, IGC, BSCM, ICODES, JEDC, HAZDEC Certified; familiar with AFMAN 24-204, CFR 49, DTR, ERG, IATA, GATES, and FEDLOG. These systems are part of the APS-5 required tracking and process requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for ensuring the all shipment planning data for Air/Sea/Ground movement is compiled and replicated in support of Current Operations working in our Transportation Operations Center (TOC) supporting Logistics Operations Center (LOC) in coordination with Supply Operations Center (SOC, Maintenance Operations Center (MOC), and Retrograde Operation Center (ROC).
2. Prepare shipment mission analysis for all missions/taskers through proper listed systems, regulations, and sites to perform accurate analysis.
3. Responsible for preparation of shipment documentation mechanisms to depict ongoing mission statuses of shipments, and report to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Government daily.
4. Ensure specific mission/project bench mark goals are identified and attained to track and manage all Transportation Tasker shipments via Air/Sea/Ground onward movement to Global destinations in support of the Army Warfighter.
5. Responsible for ensuring program logistics resources (supply, transportation, and maintenance) can adequately support each mission requirement through coordination with data systems such as TC-AIMs, Defense Transportation Regulations, and JOPES.
6. Track and analyze Taskers, shipment activities, such as Call Forward movement and Joint Air Force (J/I) inspections to ensure all cargo makes flight schedules and sea movement with SPOD.
7. Assist with the coordination of a multiple mission requirements including APS Set Readiness.
8. Support TOC shipping with sustainment program through operational analysis, operational planning, maintenance & readiness reporting.
9. Serve as the liaison between all departments to achieve a cohesive end result.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Secret Security Clearance.
Experience:
  • 3 years of related civilian or military experience required.
  • 1 year leadership or related experience preferred.
  • US Army MOS 92A preferred or equivalent
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
  • Must be well versed in Army operating methodologies and the use of appropriate logistic information systems, such as Systems are preferred, but not required, such as SMS, AWRDS, RF-ITV, DAASINQ, TIPs Write, JOPES, SDDC, IDE, GTN, IGC, BSCM, ICODES, JEDC, HAZDEC Certified; familiar with AFMAN 24-204, CFR 49, DTR, ERG, IATA, GATES, and FEDLOG.
  • Preferred in-depth knowledge of AWRDS.
  • Must have the ability to interpret and implement local policies.
  • Must have an intermediate level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Outlook.
  • Must have progressive written and oral communications skills.
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with others effectively.
Certification & License:
  • Ammo 62 HAZDEC Course Certification highly preferred, but not required
  • Load Planning Certification highly preferred, but not required
Work Environment, Physical Demands and Mental Demands:
  • Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
