As corporate communication division, we shape the image of the company in public, inform our employees and support the dialogue in and with the company. Within Corporate Communications at Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG, the department is (amongst others) responsible for executive communications, communication for several topics regarding HR/Change, Finance/Controlling, Digitalization and Sustainability as well as for the corporate website, plus we are the first point of contact for journalist enquiries. Furthermore, we are responsible for the company's social media activities. In addition to the corporate channel on LinkedIn, we accompany the Board of Management in social media communication. We ensure that a wide range of topics from all areas of the company are prepared precisely and attractively for our target groups on various channels. For this task we need your support! of your intership with us

• You will develop content for the internal and external communication across all channels
  
• You will oversee different communication media, as for example blogs in the Social Intranet and the website
  
• You will take part in regular exchange sessions with other departments to generate ideas and to identify relevant communication topics
  
• You plan, research and write posts in English for our social media channels
  
• You actively participate in the topic planning for social media and other owned channels and are an active participant in our weekly editorial conference
  
• You will develop new ideas and formats (e.g. infographics, videos, animations) for corporate communication
  
• You contribute to the further development of our social media channels in terms of content and design
  
• You create reports and evaluate our social media statistics

• Courses of study: Undergraduate/graduate student in Communications, Journalism, Social Science or Economic studies, or related fields. First working experience in Journalism and/or Social Media Communication preferable, interest in photography, and image editing.
  
• Media Mindset: Sense and interest for communication trends, knowledge on the media landscape and on social media
  
• Language skills: German and English, written and spoken. Fluent or native English of advantage.
  
• IT skills: Experience with Adobe Photoshop, MS-Office, high online affinity preferable
  
• Personal competencies: excellent communication skills, feeling for stories, strategic thinking, confident and friendly appearance, creativity, sense of humor and team spirit
