Flipkart is a reputed company based in West Bengal. We are looking for talented professional from the field of Sales and Marketing / Business Development to join our team as Manager Category Marketing.
Deliverables Expected: -Trigger and Conceptualise marketing activities for the Electronics Business Unit. It includes the business planning – Merchandising management, brand management and marketing communications during Major sale events and on daily basis.
- Work closely with the sell side Team to agree on sales plan and provide necessary support for the categories for sales and revenues targets and accordingly plan events for the categories.
- Work Closely with Creatives team to ensure timely delivery of correct and desirable creatives.
- Work with Product teams to ensure right deployments are in place and executed for the Merchandising front.
- Ensure all the Merch Metrics are in place, Track and analyse progress with RCA for any misses.
- Develop briefs that solicit business needs from each Category stakeholder and enable marketing to deliver best-in-class programs by Consulting with Brand marketing functions and creative partners to ensure each bespoke Category campaign meet the needs of the business and BU communications on various media like social, digital, print etc are up to the mark.
- Ensure all the CRM marketing activities for the categories of the Business Unit are well planned, coordinated and executed.
Skillset Required - Demonstrates ability to think both strategically and ability to execute with attention to detail - Exceptional interpersonal, communication (spoken and written) and influencing skills and an ability to navigate a complex and unstructured cross-functional environment. - Has ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects - Has good analytical skills - Ability to challenge and influence a variety of stakeholders - Extremely creativity and is imaginative
Candidate Background: The Ideal candidate for the role as Category Marketing Manager is one who is expected to drive Marketing and Merchandising campaigns for the Electronics Business unit. As the Category Marketing manager, s/he will be a point of contact between the Business unit and its stakeholders for Marketing & Merchandising deliverables. S/he should be proficient in all marketing functions—in content creation, should have a creative bend, is able to understand different marketing channels and optimise their usage. The Role demands the candidate to own visibility of Electronics on Flipkart App/Desktop/m-Site and external channels.
