About us

Nivoda, a global online diamond marketplace, is looking to hire an experienced logistics manager for its London office. You will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments to and fro from the London office. You will also manage the day to day affairs of the office and ensure that we use the fastest and the cheapest modes for all our shipment routes.

The main goal is to ensure that diamonds come in and out of the London office in the shortest delay, while ensuring that all diamonds are up to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the memo process and make sure stones are delivered and collected on time regularly after proper memo invoices are generated

• Ensure a smooth overall operation of the London office and manage all administrative functions

• Expand, manage and build the team as necessary

• Inventory management and regular stock matching will be a crucial task

• Receive consolidated shipments via Brinks, UPS, FedEx in the London office

• Mark orders as received in the Nivoda system

• Repack and send orders along for final delivery while updating the Nivoda system

• Hand deliver diamonds to customers when necessary

• Collect diamonds and process returns

• Create shipments using the Nivoda platform and send labels to suppliers to ensure timely delivery

• Liaise with international suppliers for shipments and invoices to be forwarded to the finance department

• Assist customer support with queries related to shipping, order updates and urgent delivery requests

Requirements

• Must have 2 or more years of logistics experience. Familiar with FedEx, UPS labels and tracking systems

• Attention to detail is a must when repacking parcels and entering information into the Nivoda system

• MUST be a trustworthy person. Nivoda are a family, we must feel you will fit into the company culture

• Experience in having managed logistics teams will be an added bonus
