Junior Copywriter job from Bullfrog Media in Cremorne VIC 3121, Australia

Bullfrog Media is in search of a full-time talented and skilled Junior Copywriter to help create world-class creative campaigns for our growing client list. You will be tasked with crafting innovative and compelling narratives that drive business and brand objectives.

You should be energetic, empathetic, and passionate, and have the ability to draw inspiration and ideas from the world around you. You’ll have an insatiable curiosity for learning, a point of view, and like to take responsibility and accountability for your work. On top of being a great thinker, we expect the candidate to demonstrate strong writing skills across any medium, whether it’s social copy, video scripts or long-form content.

The ideal candidate will be a quick problem solver, have an effortless ability to write in multiple styles and ensure the tone is consistent with clients’ brands. They should have their finger on the pulse when it comes to writing techniques and constructs, and always be looking to improve their craft.

The successful candidate will be working closely with our award-winning creative team and cross-disciplinary teams such as strategy, production, and account services to help build campaigns, social, branding and editorial content for both the agency and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce insightful creative work.
* Work closely with the Creative Director, Art Director, Social Lead and Editorial Lead to develop concepts.
* Write for any medium, whether it’s social copy, a video script, or long-form content.
* Concept multiple solutions for a given brief; provides a point of view and communicates it effectively.
* Collaborate on client presentation and pitch decks

Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should be able to show you can:

* Write in multiple styles and ensure tone is consistent with our clients’ brands.
* Understand the nuances of social media and how to deliver compelling content through copy, comfortable writing for content calendars through to IG stories.
* Work with partners in developing new concepts and enhance existing campaign ideas for clients.
* Produce bold, strategic, persuasive messages in all media for client(s)
* Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
* Develop and implement brand guidelines
* Brief designers and writers clearly and concisely.
* Own the creative process from the initial concept to delivery at a very high standard.
* Manage and work independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects.
* Estimate your work, and the work of others when required.
* Work closely with accounts and production team to stay within the production timeline and budget.
* Contribute ideas to generate more client activity beyond normally scheduled projects.

You should also have:

* 2 + year’s experience in the same or similar role
* Exceptional attention to detail, multi-tasking, initiative and follow-through skills.
* An understanding of media spaces and how creative can work most effectively in them.
* An understanding of current production approaches, platforms and methodologies to engage and reach audiences.
* A Bachelor degree in the Arts or a related discipline (highly desirable)

Salary: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
