International Truck Driver - Tilburg job from Tesla in Tilburg, Netherlands

The Role

Tesla is looking for an international truck driver, specialized in car transportation, to work on one of the most progressive vehicles in the world. We are looking for self-motivated team players with a positive attitude! You will be part of a team that will support the transport needs, together with our service providers, for transporting our vehicles where ever they are needed. This unique job, as both a national & international truck driver, will put you at the forefront of our growing company.

As a ‘car transporter’ driver you are responsible for transporting Tesla vehicles, doing administrative tasks and assist were need. With specially designed trucks, the cars are transported to the several destination of Tesla in Europe.

In short, you will work in the exciting, dynamic and challenging world of transport.

Responsibilities

• Deliver vehicles, damage free, between harbors, production and delivery sites of Tesla in Europe

• Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision

• Readily communicate with Tesla team members on status of assignments

• Follow all safety procedures and legal requirements and maintain driver log (Tacho) by the rules

• Must meet exact delivery deadlines consistently

• Miscellaneous jobs as required

Requirements

• In possession of B+CE license, CCV-B, Code 95 (valid for at least 3 years), and a clean driving record

• Recent experience as a car transport truck driver (CE), ideally 5 years’ or more

• Doesn’t mind spending longer periods away, overnight stay in your truck, as well driving shorter routes for periods of time

• Good communication skills in the English language

• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, multitask and prioritize appropriately

• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines

• Ability to both work alone and in a team based environment and achieve common goals

• Living preferably in the area of North West Brabant (NL)

• High school diploma or equivalent experience. Other relevant certifications are a plus

• Basic smartphone/tablet/computer skillset to operate the Tesla Logistics App
