DGIT Systems is a reputed company based in Melbourne VIC. We are looking for talented professional from the field of IT-Software / Internet to join our team as Graduate Java Developer | Awesome Tech | Great Team |.

The Role

We are looking for talented Java Developers to join a team of engineers working on our next-generation service delivery and billing platforms for telecommunication and digital service providers.

Our technology stack includes a modern, Docker-based microservice architecture, Kafka messaging, GraphQL APIs, and a tightly focussed Java SE+PostgreSQL development environment that includes continuous integration and continuous deployment.

We have multiple roles in our Product and Solutions teams.

What you will do

  • Design, develop and deploy solutions for our customers based on our core platforms Telflow and Inomial.
  • Design, develop and deploy reusable modular software components for integration and process management to be used in our customer solutions.
  • Design and develop new capabilities for our core CPQ, Order Management and Billing platforms.
  • Contribute ideas for both solution and product design and architecture.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a creative and agile team.
  • Contribute to our development toolchain and methodologies.

Skills we need

We do need someone who can hit the ground running but software is our business and we are looking for talent over experience, passion over knowledge.

  • 0-2 years software development experience with modern Java SE (8+)
  • Ability to use SQL in an application development context
  • Completely at home in a Linux/MacOS/Docker development environment

Our technology

Bonus points if you have worked with this tech!

  • Linux (Debian, Alpine and/or Red Hat)
  • PostgreSQL, PL/PGSQL, and/or MyBatis
  • Apache Kafka
  • GraphQL & REST API frameworks
  • Business Process Management and Rules libraries (Activiti, Drools, etc.)
  • A sophisticated development, packaging and release toolchain (Atlassian Jira/Bamboo, Maven, etc.)
