Island Pacific Distributors is a reputed company based in Honolulu, HI 96817. We are looking for talented professional from the field of Administration / Secretarial to join our team as Full-time General Office Clerk.

Hawaii’s Largest Architectural Hardware Distributor is currently seeking a Full-Time General Office Clerk to join our talented team of Employee Owners. Island Pacific has been a leading distributor of commercial doors, frames, finish hardware and specialty building products in the island, since opening our doors in 1978.

The ideal candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Must be high energy, fast paced, critical thinker, team and customer service oriented, and able to work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset able to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Desire to learn, improve, and excel; follow directions and tasks assigned by company management.
  • Background in HR, sales, or customer service is a benefit.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Computer experience required.

Job Duties include:

  • Handling office responsibilities, such as filing, answering phones, creating, proofing reports / presentations, mailings, memos, and other office tasks.
  • Supporting front counter sales team.
  • Scheduling, setting up for meetings, transcribing minutes from meetings.
  • Using computers to generate reports, conduct research, prioritize deadlines and follow up as appropriate.
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Secretarial assistance for company executives.
  • Cross-training to help with all office duties during vacations and absences.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • All other tasks as assigned by Management.
