SJOC Law is a reputed company based in Remote. We are looking for talented professional from the field of Administration / Secretarial to join our team as File Clerk/office Assistant.
We are a growing California based law firm. We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the firm. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities
- Review and organize mail
- Help keep track of court and other deadlines
- Preparation of weekly reminders
- Manage our "files" located on a Google Drive
- Schedule calls and meeting with clients
- Maintain case and client lists to assist attorneys and paralegals
- Helping to maintain the firm calendar
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
- Light phone work and communications with clients and opposing counsel

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
