IHG is a reputed company based in Terrigal NSW. We are looking for talented professional from the field of Project Management / Event / Program Management to join our team as Event Planner - Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific.

Our hotel is looking for a savvy Event Planner to join our enthusiastic and friendly team at Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific as a Crowne Event Planner.

Your day to day

As Crowne Event Planner – Social & Corporate you will provide support to the sales and events team in planning social events and corporate functions, coordination with hotel operations and client liaison before, during and after each meeting and/ or event.

What we need from you

You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. For this vital role, we're looking for someone who has sound knowledge of planning and sales principles and techniques, event planning experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

An integral part of the team, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills and comprehension of event processes, systems and revenue management principles.

You must have a flexible work approach where night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job. Ideally, you will also have a Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field.
