ByteDance is a reputed company based in Dubai. We are looking for talented professional from the field of Environment/ Health & Safety to join our team as Environment, Health And Safety Officer.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation of the Global EHS Management System, while developing locally compliant procedures and guidance for local stakeholders.
  • Act as the EHS subject matter expert and provide support to local business partners, particularly on company projects.
  • Ensure all local regulatory and industry best practices and reporting requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain routine documentation, such as risk assessments, audits, employee training and inspections.
  • Assist in the delivery of the global EHS objectives, including supporting and coordinating with other EHS team members, completing tasks as assigned to further improve the EHS culture and performance.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in environment, health and safety, or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant working experience and professional certificates, such as NEBOSH
  • Locally recognized qualifications and local authority registrations to operate as the designated Company Health and Safety Officer are required
  • Excellent working knowledge of local, regional, national compliance and regulatory requirements and general building standards
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence key stakeholders and build relationships
  • Strong computer-based skills, able to produce reports and working documents to an exceptional standard
  • Able to work independently and drive results. Strives for continuous improvement
  • Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical Member of IOSH or other locally recognized industry body
