Wollondilly Shire Council has recently undertaken an extensive review of its organisational framework and this opportunity now exists within the executive leadership team for the Director Shire Services.

Wollondilly is facing unprecedented growth as a result of development and in order to prepare for that growth, Council is looking for an energetic and innovative executive who really wants to make a difference.

This pivotal executive leadership position in the organisation structure reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead all of Council’s direct service delivery, with a key focus on maintaining and enhancing Council’s assets to meet the community’s high quality service expectations.

Central to the task will be the need to work closely with the CEO to create the conditions for alignment between the Councillors, the executive, the staffing group, external stakeholders, and the community.

This role requires outstanding and inspirational leadership, passion and the proven ability to deliver outstanding results leading our Infrastructure Operations, Parks & Recreation, Waste & Environment, Capital Projects and Community, Libraries and Childcare teams.

We are seeking a proven leader who can positively transform our assets and services, has a passion for exceptional customer service, a proven track record delivering results, and will be an integral member of a high performing executive team as we strive for excellence for our community.
