Baygroup United is a reputed company based in Sydney NSW 2000. We are looking for talented professional from the field of Banking and Financial Services to join our team as Corporate Banking Settlements Officer.

PLEASE NOTE: Only Australian permanent residents or citizens will be considered for this position

Bilingual English and Mandarin skills are required

There are two positions, one is full-time permanent and the other is a one year contract

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Work for an international bank in its Sydney CBD office as Corporate Banking Settlements Officer to provide loan settlement and administration, credit & settlement related reporting

Major Accountabilities/Key Tasks

  • Treasury Money Market, FX, NCD bought settlement, DEPO SWAP settlement and administration
  • ECD, NCD issuance settlement
  • Handle SWIFT payments and confirmation
  • Handle AUSTRACLEAR and RITS payments, CommBiz payment, etc.
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Follow-up and investigation of late and error payments
  • Loan settlements, payments and follow-up receipts, loan limit activation and initial drawdown, drawdown rate setting and renewing
  • Reporting fund movements
  • Maintain settlements information correspondence from Agent, collect and keep any post-settlement information, progress, report, etc.
  • Custody of Security Documents and Contracts and other securities for safe-keeping
  • Produce various daily and periodic reports
  • File keeping
  • Token administration
  • Bank reconciliation (ESA, ANZ CALL, WESTPAC, BOA, COMMBIZ)
  • Reporting such as IFTI
  • Others

Skills, Experience, Education, licences/ certificates and Knowledge Required

The successful candidate will demonstrate and provide examples from their professional experience of the following essential skills

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, business, economics, finance
  • Better to have banking background, with banking settlement experience familiar with various settlement and clearing instruments and frameworks like SWIFT
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Strong team work skills and multi-culture adaption capability
  • Professional certification: CFA, CPA or FRM an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $95,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

  • Bonus
