Education

Masters in social sciences or in one of the disciplines relate to communication / linguistics.

Experience

5-7 years of relevant professional experience

Eligibility Criteria

• Skill set and past experience of developing contents variety of print and electronic media (preferably on nutrition);
• Ability to improve and adapt content and copy for different set of target audience in English, Urdu and Sindhi;
• Able to write compelling, informative and precise contents for variety of media;
• Aware of the context of Sindh;
• Prior experience of working on donor projects / programmes

Broader Job Description

• Work closely and in collaboration Social and Behavior Change Communication Expert;
• Prepare a plan for developing contents for the website / social media / standees / banners / flyers / information leaflets / wall paints / scripts of various topics;
• Work with team to prepare for the consultative workshops including development of related materials and play the needful role in conducting these workshops with project team;
• In view of different sets of contents (websites / IEC materials etc.) improvise the existing and / or develop new contents in line with the stated objectives, supported by the sound research;
• Develop the contents in English and subsequently get these translated in an appropriate / contextual manner in Sindhi & Urdu (by engaging a translator);

Provide inputs for finalizing the layouts of the various IEC material in Sindhi / Urdu / English;

• Provide inputs for finalizing the detailed designs of the material (websites/poster/flyers/ standees/ posts - including short videos), based on the workshops;
• Liaise with team for the effectively execution of the Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) plan / campaign for each sector;

Job Location

Sindh (Karachi however work will include travel across Sindh)
