Construction Manager job from MATRIX INCORPORATED W.L.L in Doha, Qatar

Job Description:

• Oversee execution of daily operations, making sure production and construction cycles are met for project timelines. Manage handling of raw material and equipment logistics, people resources and administrative processes
• Specifies work standards where not specified by the owners
• Authorizes purchase of equipment, spare and materials needed for repair jobs
• Monitors progress of work and reports to the YM/AYM, matters requiring the YM/AYM's attention
• Ensures that the equipment and tools used by his section is maintained, including the calibration of inspection, measuring and testing equipment
• Ensures good housekeeping both of the facilities and work areas under his area

Educational / Professional Qualification:

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 10 years of related experience of which a minimum of 5 years in managerial position
• Experience in the field of offshore fabrication projects (Jackets, Topside, Process modules, living quarter module)
• Experience in managing the planning, scheduling, production, execution and delivery of assigned projects
• Experience in managing cross-functional team members through applying a sound experience in decision making leadership
