The demand planner will play a crucial role in the S&OP process, ensuring the deployment of the commercial strategy and vision through the delivery of an accurate forecast data at SKU/channel level taking into account information from key stakeholders (Commercial, Finance, Marketing).

He/she will be reporting to the Demand Planning Manager.

You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:

Forecast & Data analysis

• Review and adjust the forecast on a weekly basis and assess the impact of unexpected events
• Ensure the overall forecast is consistent with market trends, seasonality… in collaboration with the Distribution Planner
• Analyze the forecast accuracy, prepare different scenarios to optimize it and communicate any concern (statistical model issue, missing parameters…)
• Check & complete historical data used for forecast calculation
• Update the system and adjust the forecast on End-of-life products. Develop liquidation strategy on exit brands/collections or overstock

Animation Management

• Analyze promotions impacts and validate sales & inventory needs for key initiatives, animations…

Newness & OS Management

• Manage Newness & One Shot in the Forecasting Tool
• Review forecast vs sales alerts for newness & one shot to detect an over/under performance and align with offer team on forecast adjustment, if needed
• Manage shortage for newness & OS

Reporting & collaboration

• Prepare and participate with local offer team to the demand review meetings
• Perform budget reconciliation, simulate demand scenarios to close the gap and share with finance

Transversal Projects

• Continuous improvement on Demand Planning
• Participate to new forecasting tool launch

• Warehouse Fill Rate
• Depreciation

• At least 2 years of Demand Planning experience, ideally in retail
• Strong problem solving & quantitative & qualitative data analysis skills
• Capacity to work in fast-paced, often-changing environment and consistently deliver to tight deadlines and ability to have a global vision and to drive mid/long-term decisions
• Team player with strong verbal & written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office, with advanced Excel skills

Rattaché(e) à la Responsable Demand Planning Europe, vous êtes garant d’assurer la stratégie et la vision commerciale grâce à l’élaboration d’une prévision de ventes de qualité en prenant en compte les éléments de toutes les parties prenantes.

Prévisions & data analyse

• Déterminer et corriger les prévisions de ventes de manière hebdomadaire en analysant les facteurs impactant les ventes (évènements, contexte économique…)
• S’assurer de la pertinence des prévisions
• Analyser la forecast accuracy et déterminer les facteurs l’ayant impactée afin d’optimiser les modèles et méthodes de prévisions de ventes
• Vérifier la pertinence des données historiques du système et renseigner celles émanant de ventes exceptionnelles
• Développer une stratégie de gestion quant à la prévision de vente des articles sortant du catalogue magasin ou étant surstockés

Gestion des animations

• Analyser l’impact des promotions sur les ventes et déterminer les besoins stocks à prévoir lorsqu’un tel événement (nouveautés, « one shot » ...) est prévu

Reporting & collaboration

• 
  Participer et animer avec les Supply Chain locales des réunions de partage d’information et de coordination d’opérations concernant le marché, la performance des ventes ainsi que les évènements stratégiques
• Aligner ses prévisions de ventes avec les budgets d’achat déterminés par le pôle Finance, simuler des scénarios de demandes et challenger ces données si nécessaire

Projets transverses

• 
  Amélioration continue du processus de prévisions et de l’efficacité de la chaine logistique
• Participation au lancement d’un nouvel outil de prévision des ventes

N’hésitez plus à postuler si vous avez…ou si vous êtes…

• De formation supérieure Bac +5 logistique/Supply Chain/Ingénieur.
• Vous justifiez de deux ans d’expérience en Demand Planning + une expérience dans le retail serait un plus.
• Doté(e) d’une très bonne capacité d’analyse, d’une aisance avec les chiffres et d’une appétence pour travailler dans un environnement challengeant.
• Très bonne connaissance du pack Office, spécialement Excel.
