Salary: £35,000 pro rata

Job Introduction

Working within the Financial Advice Content Team, this part time role will involve producing effective copy for adviser literature, supporting the delivery of the financial advice proposition, writing FA colleague communications, and creating affinity partner promotions.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic copywriter to join a busy, deadline-driven team, working closely with the Content Leader and two other Campaign Copywriters. If you think you’d enjoy the challenge of communicating to large audiences and existing financial advice customers – and cope well working under pressure – this could be the role for you.

Main Responsibilities

You’ll support the team’s efforts to engage with financial advice customers by writing timely, informative and accurate copy in a variety of formats. You’ll need to be flexible in changing your writing style and tone of voice to suit different requirements and channels – including writing for digital audiences.

With training and support, you’ll build up detailed knowledge of our financial advice service, in order to produce a variety of written material.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for writing and a willingness to learn. You’ll be expected to form positive relationships with other members of the team, departments and agencies.

In addition to strong writing skills you’ll need to be able demonstrate an ability to juggle priorities, and to be able to combine creative flair with attention to detail. You’ll be comfortable working as part of a team – and be able to write on your own initiative to meet tight deadlines.


The successful candidate will take an active interest in industry trends and be keen to continuously develop their FA technical knowledge. You’ll be willing to learn about the regulatory requirements and consider them at all times in your writing. You’ll build up a detailed and considered picture of your reader and be confident of writing in a way that engages them. You’ll constantly strive to put forward new ideas and have the ability to bring them to life.

We are happy to consider candidates with no previous experience of copywriting. So if you fancy dipping your toe in the water, this could be the role for you.
