The Marketing Communications & Culture team oversees the internal and external communications for the Paramount Ad Sales team, as well as ensuring a strong and healthy day-to-day culture for team members on Velocity. Our responsibilities include executing on a holistic internal communication strategy, elevating our team’s reputation in the marketplace, and implementing a comprehensive Culture strategy with a particular focus on Learning and Development. We also prioritize executing Diversity and Inclusion strategies that foster an environment that embraces and supports all team members.

SO, WHATS THE JOB?
As the Marketing Communications & Culture Team Assistant, you are a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of support tasks and work diligently under pressure. The core responsibilities will include administrative duties, as well as assisting in people operations, and learning and development of our department. You must be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion, as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

The Day to Day:
Performing daily administrative tasks including, but not limited to maintaining calendars, scheduling, preparing for meetings, booking travel, processing invoices and expenses
Coordinating high-level meetings, including sending invitations, reserving rooms, creating and distributing agendas, working with tech support
Creating and maintaining trackers, documents, and lists
Manage team inboxes
Assist with integrating new members into the department
Maintain and update team/department materials as needed

Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in an administrative assistant role

Additional Qualifications:
A problem solver who has the ability to anticipate and resolve problems before they become larger issues
Ability to work in a fast-moving environment; flexible and adaptable to change
Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of an organization, particularly at senior levels
Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues or information
Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task, with great follow-up skills
Works well under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Mailchimp experience is a plus
