The Role
You are a self-starter who is strategic, resilient, and engaged with people. You have a passion for inspiring team members, building technical capability and solving complex problems. As an Android Developer, you will be key member of our Mobile and Connected Devices team and will deliver solid solutions to complex problems and are able to provide consistent high-quality code.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and developing rich user interfaces for performance-critical mobile applications, utilising cutting edge technologies
Being the conduit between business, technology, and creative disciplines, with an ability to work with a medium- to large team to deliver successful product projects
Being adept and quickly evolving from fuzzy problems to working solution prototypes while being across the current and future state of digital technologies

To be awesome in this role you will have:
Solid experience in native mobile application development – Android
Ideally some experience building hybrid mobile applications – Rx Java or Rx Kotlin
Understanding of architecture - MVVM, MVP
Aware of exposure to Push notifications
Experience rolling out apps to play stores
Experience in using networking libraries and local data storage
Self-motivated, problem-crushing attitude
Strong presentation and group facilitation skills
