Do you engage in a range of activities e.g. creative, cognitive, leisure-related, which you can use with service users in a psychiatric ward with diagnosis of Dementia and Alzheimer's, to relieve boredom and support their recovery?

If so, we have a range of new and exciting opportunities for you to join our team/s as an activity coordinator, working alongside the occupational therapy staff and within an established multidisciplinary team, supporting people in our adult mental health services (acute in-patients and in patient rehabilitation).

We are looking for people who can work relatively independently, using their own skills (art and craft, cooking/baking, gardening, music and exercise, puzzles and games) to support patients in engaging with meaningful activity, and through this promote wellbeing using a client centred approach.
