Job Role Responsibilities
SPS (SAP Programming Services) provides custom SAP development (ABAP, Java) and support for SAP instances used by ExxonMobil users worldwide.
This includes conversions of data from legacy applications into SAP databases; interfaces with non-SAP applications; extensions to SAP itself in the form of user exits; customized SAP reports; front end (End User GUI) configuration.
Expected Level of Proficiency

• Extensive experience developing in SAP ABAP Languages & using SAP Workbench
• Knowledge of the ALE/IDOC/RFC system services
• Knowledge of Work Flow, SapScript, Smartforms
• Knowledge of Authorization Checks
• Experience with Dialog Programming, User Exits & Transport Workbench (Transport requests)
• Knowledge of methods, processes, and techniques for delivering new or enhanced functionality. Experience with OSS Notes Implementation / Core code changes.
• Working knowledge of other SAP Technology - expected to understand the end-to-end technical SAP solution including impact to support teams (Basis, Batch).
